Spotlight on inventors

Clonakilty Agriculture Show on Sunday, June 9, will feature the new Carbery Plastics Farm Inventions Competition.

In the 98th year of the popular west Cork show, organisers will offer a platform for local inventors to present their ideas.

They are asked to describe their designs and to support their invention with photographs, design drawings, and/or a model.

Completed entries with supporting photographs and/or design drawings can be emailed to or posted to Donal McCarthy, Secretary, Clonakilty Agricultural Show Ltd, Ballinard, Ballineen, Co Cork, but tomorrow (May 31) is the closing date.

Shortlisted entrants will be invited to exhibit their ideas on the show day, when winners will be announced.
