Herdwatch on shortlist of top tipped firms

Herdwatch, which is part of the FRS Network, has been profiled in the prestigious SFA National Small Business Awards 2015 as one of five emerging new businesses.

Herdwatch is a cross-platform mobile service which allows farmers to register calves directly from compatible smartphones, tablets, laptops and PCs. It also helps with management of other cross-compliance requirements.

Dúnmasc Genetics of Co Laois has also been profiled in this category for firms with up to 50 employees, in business less than two years. It offers top quality bovine genetics and fertility management services to farmers and breeders.
