More than 92% of the total stand space is already taken for this year’s National Ploughing Championships at Ratheniska, Stradbally, Co Laois, in September.

Europe’s largest outdoor event, organisers the NPA say this year’s event will feature exciting new exhibitors as well as hundreds of veteran companies showcasing their products and services. The event will also feature a revamped Innovations Arena, complete with consultation booths and a forum centre. Enterprise Ireland will be providing staff to assist with general enquiries, while the Patent’s Office will have a stand and will offer media campaign advice.

Leader Village will return to present entrepreneurs, businesses and groups supported by Leader, exhibiting products and services. Laois County Council will showcase its local economic, social and cultural services.

The NPA expects that the Food Fayre will be extended this year, with Bord Bia and an array of artisan food producers showcasing products. The Forestry Village will feature the Husqvarna Pole Climbing, Advisory Authorities and many of the services.
