The outbuildings come with the 62-acre farm for sale at Ballycunningham, Donoughmore, Co. Cork.

New to the market with Sherry Fitzgerald in Cork is an attractive 62.2-acre farm located in a very sought-after agricultural area north of Cork City.

The property in question is in the townland of Ballycunningham, 2km south of Donoughmore, 23km from Mallow and just 25km from Cork City centre.

The farm includes a good range of quality outbuildings and a water supply is available at the public road.

“There is also an 0.75-acre site available to a suitable client living within the area,” said selling agent Norma Healy.

With a very long stretch of road frontage along the R619, access couldn’t be more convenient and the agent says that there is already a great deal of interest in the farm.

“This is all very good land,” said Ms Healy. “The word has already got around that this particular parcel is coming on the market and we’d expect there to be very good interest in it.”

It has been a feature of recent sales, she says, that many buyers from outside of the area are tempted to get involved in particularly good quality farms such as this one.

The asking price of €1.1m (€18,000/acre) is reflective of the fact that this is a substantial quantity of high-quality grassland in a convenient area where intensive dairy farming dominates and where demand is high.
