Robber accidentally reveals face by removing bag disguise to hold loot

A man attempting to hold up a convenience store accidentally revealed his identity when he removed the bag he was using to cover his face so he could fill it with loot.

The man placed a recyclable shopping bag over his head and produced a knife as he entered the store in Caboolture, Queensland.

But when staff handed over the cash, he had nowhere to put it – so he removed the bag and stuffed the loot inside.

In doing so, he revealed his face to CCTV cameras before leaving the store.

Police have appealed for information on the man, who left with cash and cigarettes.
