It’s got 2,500 sq ft within, five bedrooms, and five bathrooms — and it take a full five minutes-plus for estate agent Sean McCarthy of ERA Downey McCarthy to do a video walk-through on the delights behind the part-brick, part-dash facade of the detached, modern build 78A Árd na Gréine.
Built around 2011 by architect Martin Byrne as his own home, it’s an over-sized one-off, the last one in on the end of a row semi-ds off the Banduff Road.
While the exterior finish was done to more-or-less match the materials of its earlier neighbours, inside all is showhouse quality and finished off to a tee.

It’s already under offer at the €350,000 asking price, adds Mr O’Donnell.

But the scene-setter off the tiled hall through double doors is the very large kitchen/dining/living room, all across the back of the wide house.
