Ovens home is all spruced up and ready to go

End-of-terrace home is just the ticket, writes Trish Dromey

Spruced up with a fresh coat of paint, No 7 Grange Way, Grange Manor, Ovens, was looking its best this week in preparation for its first open showing.

Guiding the three-bed, end-of-terrace house at €240,000, Michael O’Donovan of Savills says it’s a well maintained, well finished modern house which would be fantastic for a first-time buyer.

Built in 2006, the property has 1,020 sq ft of accommodation and is located in an attractive modern cul de sac development overlooking a green area, around 5km from Ballincollig.

The current owners, now planning a step up the property ladder, upgraded with both oak and walnut flooring in the living areas and also put down an Indian sandstone patio in the garden. Behind the two ground floor windows at the front, is an oak-floored living room with a fireplace.

An archway leads through to an L-shaped kitchen diner which has walnut flooring, gloss cream units, integrated appliances and a small breakfast bar. There’s also a guest WC off the oak floored hallway. Upstairs there’s a bathroom and three bedrooms.

The master bedroom is at the front and has carpet flooring, mirrored sliderobes and an en suite shower room.

There’s a small green area at the front of the house and a garden at the rear, which in the interest of easy maintenance is mostly paved and also has two sheds, a large steel one and a smaller timber one.

Mr O’Donovan is expecting significant interest due to its price, condition and location, within a five-minute drive from Ballincollig.

Verdict: Well kept and modern
