Greybrook Cottage has been renovated

THERE’S offers in now on Greybrook Cottage, in Waterfall – just west of Cork city, and near the new Marymount Hospital which is advancing rapidly in construction.

The renovated and upgraded cottage hit the summer market with agent Dominic Daly, who sought offers close to € 400,000, but the current offer is €270,000.

Essentially traditional in style, the single storey lodge-style house is on a mature plot, with slate roof, and has a living/dining room with brick fireplace, kitchen, optional study or bedroom three, and bathroom.

Mr Daly says it has been “seriously upgraded, and could suit a professional couple.” The rural Waterfall location is, indeed, popular with medics and that ilk, given proximity and ease of access to the CUH. Greybrook is about a mile west of O’Shea’s landmark Waterfall pub.
