Intercall, a communications outsourcing specialist company, is creating 15 jobs as the company develops and enters a partnership with Vodafone Ireland.
Intercall managing director Niall Kelleher said that, while Intercall experienced a difficult trading year in 2010 they have seen substantial growth in their business in 2011, much of which has been driven by their partnership with Vodafone.
“We revised our strategy and changed our focus from selling consumer products to business products. As a result we have seen a 25% increase in sales year on year and an increase in turnover of €500,000 per annum, enabling us to grow our workforce by 15,” he says.
“We have further plans to expand the company-wide workforce over the coming months,” said the boss of the Douglas, Cork-based company.
Vodafone has awarded Intercall Gold Partner certification enabling it to sell the entire Vodafone portfolio of mobile and fixed products to new and existing business customers. Intercall currently employs more than 110 people.
Vodafone Ireland’s business and enterprise director Anne O’Leary said: “Intercall is a great example of how companies can adapt to market challenges and testament to this is that they are now being recognised as a Vodafone Gold Partner. The additional training, support and incentive benefits they will receive as a Gold Partner should enable them to continue growing their business.”
