Gardaí are investigating a number of sexual assaults in Shankill, Co Dublin, since December.  Gardaí at Shankill have said the alleged sexual assaults involve a man approaching women on their own in the area between 4.30pm and 10pm, and assaulting them.

A man in his 60s has died after the flight on which he was travelling diverted to Shannon Airport  this morning.

Revenge porn is to become a criminal offence carrying a penalty of up to two years  in prison in the North.

A garda yesterday claimed before the High Court when he was off duty, he was rugby tackled to the ground   by other gardaí, handcuffed, and arrested after querying the price of a taxi home.
