IRELAND

Gardaí have said they do not believe foul play was involved in the death of  a man in his 30s  whose body was found in a car park near Cork city centre this morning. 

A body of a man has been found at Kennedy Quay in Cork city.  The discovery was around 9.30am this morning.

Gardaí are trying to establish the final movements of murder victim, Kenneth O'Brien.  The 33-year-old father of one was last seen alive a week ago, and his remains were discovered in the Grand Canal the following day.

The HSE is investigating after a patient attending University Hospital Limerick  fell from a first floor at the hospital last week.

The drug that left a teenager fighting for his life in Cork City has been identified as  25I-NBOMe  — a potent hallucinogenic stimulant.

A high-level delegation from Cork Chamber, the Irish Aviation Authority and officials from Dublin and Cork airports met the  US ambassador to Ireland  yesterday as part of intense efforts to secure the first transatlantic flights from Cork.

At least 21 people have died after two separate boats smuggling migrants off  two Greek islands  capsized overnight.
