Woman arrested in UK terror probe

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of fundraising for the purpose of terrorism.

The 42-year-old was detained by counter-terrorism officers at a residential address in west London this morning, Scotland Yard said.

She was taken to a central London police station where she remains in custody.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman added: “Officers are searching the address. Inquiries continue.”
