WATCH: Navy Seal video of the Thai cave rescue shows how dangerous the mission was

The Thai Navy Seals have posted a video to their Facebook page showing their divers as they rescue the 12 boys and their football coach from the cave system.

The video shows a number of divers as they prepare for the dangerous mission as well as some of the boys being placed on stretchers and carried from the caves.

The group had been trapped on a ledge for over two weeks after entering the passageways and being cut off by rising flood waters.

The 12 young football players, aged between 11 and 16, as well as their 25-year-old coach, were safely extracted over three days by an international rescue team.

The rescue operation ended an 18-day ordeal that claimed the life of an experienced volunteer diver and riveted people around the world.
