US politician 'incredibly remorseful' for naked swim

A US congressman has had to apologise to his Christian constituents after being caught swimming naked in the holy Sea of Galilee - the lake in Israel where Jesus Christ is said to have walked on water.

Republican Kevin Yoder from Kansas, who is 36, has not been charged over the incident, in which he and 20 other politicians and staff jumped into the water.

He said he is "incredibly remorseful".
