US military command Twitter hacked by IS

[burl=657808]Updated story[/url]

The Twitter site of the US Central Command military agency has been taken over by hackers claiming to be working on behalf of Islamic State militants.

The site was filled with threats that said: “American soldiers, we are coming, watch your back.”

Other postings appeared to list names and phone numbers of military personnel as well as slides and maps.

American and coalition fighters are carrying out air strikes against IS in Iraq and Syria.

Military officials had no immediate comment.
