Two quakes rock Peru and Chile

Two strong earthquakes, registering a magnitude of 5.9 on the Richter Scale, have struck an area near the Peru-Chile border.

The first tremor happened this morning in Peru near the town of Moquegua and seconds later, a quake struck over the border in Chile.

There are no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
