Two killed in Swedish shooting

Gunmen shot and killed two men and wounded a third person in the central Swedish city of Sodertalje today, police said.

Police spokeswoman Bjorn Engstrom said the men were shot at a location used for card games in the Ronna area of the city, which is about 18 miles south of Stockholm.

He said police are searching for two or three gunmen. A scooter they used in their getaway was later found burning nearby.

The wounded man is in a stable condition in hospital, Mr Engstrom said.

He would not give any more details about the victims because they have not been fully identified yet.
