Three shot at Tennessee State University

Police are “all over the scene” at Tennessee State University in Nashville after three people were shot on campus, emergency services have said.

Tanya Stone, operations supervisor for the Metro Nashville emergency communication centre, said the three were taken to a Nashville hospital.

She said there was no indication of an active shooter.

A university spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment and university police dispatchers said they could not release any information.

The incident comes just over a week after three people were wounded by gunfire at an off-campus party opposite the college.
