Thousands forced from homes due to wildfires in Portugal and France

Thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes because of wildfires in Portugal and France.

Three people have died on the tourist island of Madeira (pictured) while another was killed in mainland Portugal.

80 people are in hospital there with burns.

While more than 1,500 firefighters are battling a blaze north of France's second largest city Marseille.
