Think this photo was from Obama's meeting with Trump? Think again

This photo has been doing the rounds on social media and various media outlets, and has been hitting many of us in the feels.

It is widely said to show Barack Obama’s staffers at the White House looking pretty depressed, as the president meets with Donald Trump for the first time.

However, we’re here to tell you that it’s not actually from today.

Sure, the staffers might have been a little perturbed by Obama’s meeting with the future president, but instead this photo is actually from Wednesday November 9. It shows staff listening to Obama speak about the election results, rather than when he met with Trump.

Whoops. Goes to show that you can’t always believe what you read.
