Tensions rise in Ferguson ahead of ruling on shooting

The American town of Ferguson is bracing itself for further violence ahead of a ruling on whether a police officer who shot dead a black teenager should be charged.

Michael Brown, who was unarmed, was killed in August prompting days of riots.

National Guard units in Missouri are on standby as a grand jury determines whether Darren Wilson will be indicted.

Many locals, like Jeana Moore, have been buying guns.

She said: "I'd rather be able to pull a trigger than dial 911 and hope that they get there faster than this guy gets in my window."
