The injury toll from the collision between a train and a bus in Germany has risen to 10, according to police there.

They also said that two people have been seriously injured at the crash on a level crossing.

Apparently the driver had stopped to let passengers off, but the back of the vehicle remained on the tracks.

It happened this morning in the town of Melle, and the injured people are being treated in hospital.
