A suicide bomber on a motorbike has attacked an Afghan border police convoy, killing three police and three civilians, a police official said.
Border police official Abdul Razzaq said 17 other people, including two police and 15 civilians, were wounded in today’s explosion in Kandahar province near the Pakistan border.
Mr Razzaq originally reported 21 people wounded.
The Taliban use suicide bombings in their attacks against Afghan and foreign troops.
Many of the victims in such attacks have been civilians.
