Study: Day care 'leads to higher risk of childhood eczema'

Scientists in Germany believe children who spend their earliest years in day care may be at higher risk of eczema.

This compares to youngsters who are cared for at home, according to the study.

Between 10% and 20% of infants and children experience some symptoms of the disease.
