Several people hurt in 'Gas Explosion' in Dijon

Several people have been injured in an apparent accidental gas explosion near a train station in the eastern French city of Dijon.

Mayor Francois Rebsamen said one person remains trapped and several others were evacuated by emergency workers after the blast.

He said the incident was "not an attack".

Mr Rebsamen added that witnesses described a strong odour of gas, and described it as a domestic accident.
