Seven in hospital, one dead after Italian school bombing

In Italy, a 16-year-old female student has been killed and at least seven people are injured after a bomb exploded this morning in the southern city of Brindisi.

It is thought two bombs went off in rucksacks left outside a school.

One theory which police are exploring is that this attack may be linked to an anti-mafia protest march, which was due to take place in the city later today.
