England's Princess of Cambridge has made her first public appearance – fewer than eight hours after she was born.

The new British royal baby was presented to the world on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, by her parents the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge.

This is the moment the little sleeping beauty Princess Cambridge, wearing a bonnet and wrapped in a blanket, went outside for the first time.
