Romney urges Akin to quit Senate

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has urged Congressman Todd Akin to withdraw from the race for the US Senate.

Romney's comments come after Mr Akin caused outrage by saying women's bodies could prevent pregnancy in cases of 'legitimate rape'.

He's apologised for the comment but has refused to quit.
