Report: Woman admits killing her eight newborn babies

A woman has reportedly admitted killing her eight newborn babies and hiding their bodies in a village in northern France.

Dominique Cottrez has appeared in court and been remanded in custody following the discovery of remains at two homes near Lille.

Charges against her husband, Pierre-Marie, have been dropped.

The couple, who have two daughters in their twenties, had recently moved house.
