Pope Francis arrives in New York

Pope Francis has arrived in New York, after an historic address to Congress, in which he reminded the US of its immigrant origins.

He is taking part in a sunset evening prayer service tonight.

During his visit, he will also address world leaders at the United Nations, participate in an interfaith service at the 9/11 memorial, and celebrate mass at Madison Square Garden.
