Police arrest two men after false bomb claim on plane

Two young British men have been arrested at Tenerife's main airport after allegedly falsely claiming that they had put a bomb on board their flight from Manchester.

The pair, reported to be in their early twenties, had apparently been having a row with one another and made the claim after crew confronted them once the plane had touched down.

Explosives experts carried out an exhaustive search of the aircraft and found nothing.
