Pilot found three times over legal alcohol limit before take off

In Britain, a pilot found three times over the legal alcohol limit as he was about to fly a plane with more than 150 passengers has been jailed for nine months.

Irfan Faiz was breathalysed before take-off at Leeds Bradford Airport when colleagues noticed he was unsteady on his feet.

He said he was unaware of the rules around drinking and flying in the UK - which are different to his native Pakistan.
