Oscar Pistorius due back in court

Oscar Pistorius will be back in court today to be sentenced for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steeenkamp.

It is expected the South African athlete will be given more jail time, after his original manslaughter conviction was upgraded to murder by the Supreme Court last December.

Pistorius shot dead Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day 2013, claiming he mistook her for an intruder.

He has already spent a year behind bars but has been on probation since.
