North Korea detains US university student for 'Anti-State Acts'

North Korea has said it has arrested a US university student for alleged anti-state acts.

Pyongyang’s Korean Central News Agency reported that authorities are investigating the student who it says entered the North as a tourist.

It says the student allegedly plotted to undermine the North’s system and has links to the US government.

Earlier this month, US news channel CNN reported that North Korea had detained another US citizen on suspicion of spying.
