Nine dead in Thai blasts

Nine people have died and at least 70 have been injured in a series of bomb blasts in southern Thailand.

Three devices hidden in two motorbikes and a car exploded in the business area of the city of Yala around lunchtime.

Islamist separatists have been blamed for the attacks.
