New ebola vaccines given testing clearance

Two new ebola vaccines will be tested on healthy volunteers in west Africa, after being declared safe.

The World Health Organisation says the two most advanced treatments now have "an acceptable safety profile".

The trials could take about six months, meaning millions of doses might be available later this year.
