A mother and her two children who vanished after her husband appeared in court accused of using violence against her, have been found in France, police said.
Survoi Costa, 25, her daughter Scarlett, seven, and her son Scarleon, three, were last seen on May 3, when Sumon Costa, 36, was freed on bail after appearing at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court to face a charge of wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm.
They were reported missing two days later by social services.
Scotland Yard said today that the three, from Forest Gate in East London, had been located.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: "They have now been located safe and well in France and officers are liaising with the relevant authorities to arrange for their to return to the UK."
Sumon Costa, who was being sought over an alleged breach of bail conditions, was also found, she added.
