Megyn Kelly to interview Donald Trump after 'blood coming out of her wherever' comment

Donald Trump will be interviewed by Megyn Kelly in the pair's first encounter since they clashed during a TV debate in August.

Mr Trump began criticising Ms Kelly on Twitter following the first Republican debate on US TV channel Fox News.

He was angered by moderator Ms Kelly's question about statements he had made about women.

The GOP presidential contender will be a guest on Megyn Kelly Presents, a prime-time special airing May 17 on Fox TV, the network said.

In a statement, Ms Kelly said she asked Mr Trump for the interview when they had a private meeting earlier this month.

She said she looks forward to a "fascinating exchange."
