Man killed in 'shooting' on London high street

A man has reportedly been shot dead on a busy London high street.

Police were called at 5.20pm to reports of a shooting in Kilburn High Road at the junction with Netherwood Street, in north-west London.

Officers and paramedics attended, but the man in his early 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.

There have been no arrests in connection with the incident. Inquiries are ongoing.
