Man attacked by shark in Western Australia

A man in his 30s has been attacked by a shark in Western Australia.

He was surfing at a remote spot called Red Bluff about 1,000km from Perth at the time.

He suffered severe injuries to his abdomen and right arm but is now said to be in a stable condition in hospital.
