Man admits to murdering his pregnant wife

A 26-year-old man has pleaded guilty to the murder of his pregnant wife and the destruction of her unborn child, UK court officials have said.

Tariq Khan admitted murdering 24-year-old Nadia Khan when he appeared at Bradford Crown Court today.

Mrs Khan was found with fatal stab wounds at a house in Holker Street, Manningham, Bradford, on June 14.

Khan, from Bradford, was charged with murder, child destruction and assault by beating.

He admitted all charges today and was remanded in custody to be sentenced on October 16.
