Man, 78, charged with rape after being arrested as part of Savile investigation

A 78-year-old man has been charged with the rape and indecent assault of four people at hospitals in the 1970s and 80s.

Michael Salmon from Wood Green in Hampshire was arrested as part of the police investigation into abuse by Jimmy Savile.

The allegations include one relating to Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Buckinghamshire, where Savile's said to have molested many children.
