Iraqi government forces enter Fallujah to retake city from ISIS

Iraqi government forces have started a new phase of the operation to recapture the city of Fallujah, which is held by Islamic State.

It is understood the army is entering from three directions.

The city lies around 40 miles west of the capital Baghdad.

Recent fighting led to many civilians fleeing the area, but an estimated 50,000 remain trapped.
