Impeachment trial to be held for suspended Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff

The Brazilian senate has voted to hold an impeachment trial for suspended president, Dilma Rousseff, who is accused of breaking budget law.

It is a process that could see her permanently removed from office.

The senate voted 59 to 21 in favour of a trial after a lengthy debate.
