German church leader caught drink-driving

The leader of Germany’s Lutheran Church was caught driving drunk in a company car.

Margot Kaessmann was stopped after she ignored a red traffic light in central Hannover on Saturday night.

Kaessmann said: “I’m shocked at myself that I committed such a grave mistake.”
