French leaders meeting after journalists killed in Mali

French leaders are holding an emergency meeting today, after two French journalists were abducted and killed in Mali.

President Francois Hollande called the crisis talks with his Foreign and Justice Ministers to try to shed light on the double murder.

It's believed the two radio journalists were abducted by unknown kidnappers yesterday in the northern city of Kidal.

The French leader sent troops to Mali in January to try to oust Islamist rebels in the north.
