Four dead after plane crashes onto Atlanta highway

Four people have been killed after a small passenger airplane crashed and burst into flames along a busy Atlanta motorway.

The single-engine plane crashed minutes after taking off from DeKalb Peachtree Airport.

The plane was being flown by businessman Greg Byrd, his two sons Phillip and Christopher and his partner Jackie and their dog,

The family was flying to see Greg’s son Robert Byrd graduate from the University of Mississippi on Saturday.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the crash.
