Security forces in Afghanistan have arrested five men suspected of being involved in the massacre last month at a military school in Pakistan in which 148 people were killed, mostly children.
Afghan security officials said the men, all foreign nationals, helped support the assault at the Army Public School and College in the city of Peshawar.
They said the suspects had all been arrested in recent weeks near Afghanistan’s eastern border with Pakistan.
The Taliban claimed the December 16 attack on the school. The militant group is active in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
