In the UK Theresa May's new government has begun preparing trade talks with Australia, Canada and the US, ahead of the Brexit.
Australia has already called for a free trade deal with Britain as soon as possible, and Canada has also started negotiations.
New British Prime Minister Theresa May has described the call as "very encouraging" and says it shows Brexit could work for the country.
She has told International Trade Secretary Liam Fox to begin exploring options, although deals cannot be signed while still in the EU.
Talks between the UK and US are due to begin next week.
Meanwhile Ireland is being urged to highlight the importance of our relationship with Britain, with some German MEPs saying we should emphasise the danger posed to the Northern Ireland peace process by the UK's departure from the European Union.
