It will be mostly grey and overcast. Parts of Connacht, Ulster and Leinster will be wet in the morning, most of which will be light. Then there will be a few light showers for western parts of Connacht and Munster in the afternoon. Gentle south-westerly winds.

Any lingering patchy light rain or drizzle in Ulster should soon clear through the evening leaving a dry night here. However, elsewhere there will be some showers, mostly for Connacht and Munster. Clear spells will be few and far between. Light to gentle winds.

It is going to be a predominantly cloudy day tomorrow, however, some spells of sunshine are expected along the southern and western coasts. There will be occasional rain, though the majority of this will be light and also patchy in nature. Gentle to light winds.

Sunday

A band of rain initially in the west will move east but it will fragment as it does so. It will be followed by some sunny spells. However, some showers may affect the east coast.

After a dry morning, it will become rather wet with heavy rain for all areas. This rain may start to fall as sleet or snow over uplands areas later on in the day. Freshening winds.

Tuesday

An unsettled and cloudy day with showers, although central parts may escape largely dry. Some sunny spells may develop in the west in the afternoon. Windy along the south coast.

Fairly unsettled and cloudy with widespread wintry showers and a good chance of hail and thunder. The showers may merge into longer spells of rain, sleet or snow. Moderate winds.
